Chipping Community Energy hosted an Open Evening at Chipping Village Hall on Tues 10th December 2024. The evening was publicised with posters around the village, emails to our contacts list, posts on Facebook and a leaflet drop to residents on Fellside.

Around 30 people attended the event, they were greeted with mince pies and mulled wine.

CCE Chair Keith Case gave a brief summary of the project status.

Gary Raphael presented a case study of his move from an electric boiler to an air source heat pump for heating and hot water supplemented with a solar panel & battery installation.

Paul Hunt presented information about the recent solar panel and battery installation at the Village Hall.

Paul also presented a summary of the Planning applications and approvals that have been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council by Prospus Group Ltd and Chipping Parish Council.
