Working Group expands, and further grant application submitted

We are delighted to add two new members to the Working Group.

Gary Raphael, a recently retired NHS finance director with 28 years’ experience in a number of high-profile executive roles. Gary moved into the village 2 years ago and has recently installed an air-source heat pump at his house on Brooklands.

Anne Lythgoe lives works in local government and has extensive experience in stakeholder and community engagement.

The expertise and enthusiasm brought to the Working Group by these new members is very welcome.

Pioneer Fund Application

The Working Group has been very busy making an application to the Pioneer Fund. If successful, this would fund investigation into the non-technical aspects of the Chipping Community Energy project. We would like to acknowledge the help received from NW Hub, Lancashire County Council and Ribble Valley Borough Council, particularly as the application had to be made in line with a very tight deadline. We should hear the outcome of the application in early January.
